Tatung showcases smart energy-saving solutions at Middle East Electricity 2014

Taiwan: Tatung Co. (TWSE Stock Code 2371), a smart energy company offering turnkey energy-saving system integration solutions, is successfully targeting the markets in the Middle East with the latest presentation of its energy-saving solutions at Middle East Electricity 2014 in Dubai.
Amongst the products Tatung presented was the newly patented Smart Partial Discharge Analyser designed to detect and locate faults in oil-insulated high-voltage transformers. The company also highlighted amorphous transformers, high-efficiency motorswires and cables, smart meters and advanced metering infrastructure.
Tatung also presented customised system solutions specifically for the Middle East market, which included such as: mechatronic systems for improved power transmission and distribution, various smart energy-saving systems, and new-generation power grids based on bidirectional communications technology.
