Comprehensive repairs of power substations to be carried out in Volgograd Oblast in 2014

Russia, Rostov-na-Donu: Volgograd branch of JSC IDGC of the South has already repaired 12 power transformers in January and February 2014, according to the company department for public relations.

Russia, Rostov-na-Donu: Volgograd branch of JSC IDGC of the South has already repaired 12 power transformers in January and February 2014, according to the company department for public relations.

The company repaired the transformers during the implementation of the annual program of electric grid equipment repair, reports Interfax. The repairs were carried out on large transformer substations such as 110/35/10 kV substation Linevo, 110/35/10 kV Danilovskaya and 110/35/6 kV Zhirnovskaya, which are the key sources of power supply for the consumers.

The company’s aim for 2014 is to improve the reliability of the distribution grid complex in Volgograd Oblast, including the comprehensive repair of  40 power substations and renovation of about 2,000 km of the overhead transmission lines in total.
