Chitaenergo completes construction of Butuntay substation

Russia, Zabaykalsky Krai: JSC IDGC of Siberia (Rosseti Group) - Chitaenergo completed the first stage of electrification at the processing plant at Noyon Tologoysky in Zabaykalsky Krai.

Russia, Zabaykalsky Krai: JSC IDGC of Siberia (Rosseti Group) – Chitaenergo completed the first stage of electrification at the processing plant at Noyon Tologoysky in Zabaykalsky Krai.

The company built and energised the 110 kV substation Butuntay and had previously completed construction of 36 km-long overhead lines connecting  to GOK – power grid for Zabaykalsky Krai, reports RusCable.

The substation Butuntay has been equipped with the most modern equipment which includes two 40 MVA power transformers. 

“The development of industry in the Zabaykalsky Krai requires advanced grid development in the region. Work of our staff at this facility is conducted in accordance with the previously announced terms and schedules, which again shows that IDGC of Siberia is ready to fulfill all its commitments on electrification important for the development of the entire region.” said Alexei Moskalenko, Deputy Director General of JSC IDGC of Siberia – Chitaenergo.

Capital investments that are intended to implement the project are worth more than RUB 531 million (approx. $ 15 million).
