“It is my pleasure to announce that Barney Giacobello has joined AFP Transformers. Barney has a BS in Systems Engineering from NYU – Polytechnic Institute and brings with him many years of experience in the transformer industry with Westinghouse, General Electric and WEG.” said Greg Vongas.
Barney Giacobello has extensive knowledge and experience in the industrial and utility marketplace and has worked with OEMs like GE, Eaton, Emerson, GM, IBM; utilities like PSEG, Con Edison, NStar, National Grid, Covanta; C&I like Amerada Hess, ConocoPhillips, USS, Merck, Dupont, NYCTA, MTA, NJ Transit, etc.
“Barney has sold through Industrial Distributors – local, regional and national.” added the President.
AFP Transformers was formed in 1992 as a conglomerate of Field Transformer, ISOREG, and International Transformer Corp. (ITC), companies with expertise dating back to over half a century. The company provides custom transformer applications for diverse industries.
