110 kV substation to be built in Estonia

AS Merko Infra, part of AS Merko Ehitus groups Estonian construction company, and Elering AS entered into a contract for the construction of Jäneda 110 kV substation.

 


Estonia: AS Merko Infra, part of AS Merko Ehitus groups leading Estonian construction company, and Elering AS entered into a contract for the construction of Jäneda 110 kV substation.

The contract includes the construction of a 110-kV switchgear in Jäneda’s new substation together with auxiliary and control systems. Works include the construction of a control building, bays for autotransformers and reconstruction of access roads.

The contract value is approximately $1.4 M (€1.3 M), plus value added tax.

The construction will start in June 2019 and the works are scheduled to be completed in November 2020.
