IDGC of the South replaces power transformer in Oktyabrskaya station

Russia, Astrakhan: IDGC of the South (Rosseti) have replaced power transformer in the 35/10 kV substation Oktyabrskaya.
The new power transformer has been installed in anticipation of the summer peak energy load, reports Energy Land.
New transformer T-1 with 6.3 MVA capacity was installed to replace the obsolete and worn-out one at the substation which was built in 1966. The substation provides electricity to urban residential area and industrial enterprises in the region.
