SPECO successfully tested transformers for Egypt
Egypt: 3 sets of 167 MVA / 500 kV single phase auto transformers produced by SPECO for New Abu Qir Power from Egypt passed FAT successfully.

In 2018, SPECO was awarded the contract for supply and supervision of erection and commissioning of transformers for New Abu Qir Power Station by West Delta Electricity Production Company (Egypt). In this project, the transformers are required to be same as the existing transformers. After site investigation, technical design, standard manufacturing process and quality control application, all 3 sets of transformers passed the Factory Acceptance Test successfully.
