Andhra Pradesh floats O&M tender for two solar parks of 1 GW and 1.5 GW

India: The Andhra Pradesh Solar Power Corporation Private Limited (APSPCL) has issued operation and maintenance (O&M) tenders for two of the state’s ultra-mega solar parks.

 


India: The Andhra Pradesh Solar Power Corporation Private Limited (APSPCL) has issued operation and maintenance (O&M) tenders for two of the state’s ultra-mega solar parks.

The O&M tenders have been floated for 1.5 GW of solar projects at Ananthapuramu and 1 GW of projects at Kurnool ultra-mega solar park.

The work at Ananthapuramu ultra-mega solar park involves the operation and maintenance of one 220 / 33 kV pooling substation and associated 220 kV DC lines, including 33 kV lines and water supply program at N.P. Kunta site.

The tender also calls for the operation and maintenance of three 220 / 33 kV pooling substations and associated 220 kV DC lines, including 33 kV lines and water supply program at Galiveedu site of Ananthapuramu ultra-mega solar park for a period of two years.

The estimated contract value of the tender is $812,433 (₹57.9 M).

The last date for the submission of bids for both the tenders is December 16, 2019, while the technical bid opening date has been scheduled for December 17, 2019.

To bid for the project, interested bidders should have carried out O&M of 220 kV substation and associated 220 kV transmission lines for at least one year during the last five financial years. Further, the bidder should have prior experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance of 220 kV substations and associated 220 kV transmission lines.

For the Kurnool ultra-mega solar park tender, the scope of work involves the O&M of four 220 / 33 kV pooling substations and associated 220 kV DC lines, including 33 kV lines, fire station, and water supply program for a period of two years.
