USA: Larson Electronics announced the release of a 3-phase isolation transformer designed for indoor and outdoor use.

This transformer provides protection against critical equipment failures and carries a rating of 1250 kVA.

The MT-ISX-3P-480D-1250KVA-240D-N3R isolation transformer features cores that are made with non-aging, cold-rolled silicon steel laminations and precision-cut aluminum transformer winding. Close tolerances used during manufacturing eliminate burrs that can hinder performance. This 3-phase isolation transformer features a primary voltage of 480 V delta and a secondary voltage of 240 V delta.

Larson Electronics’ isolation transformer comes with a standard NEMA 3R enclosure and can be floor-mounted. This unit features 220˚C isolation with a 150˚C temperature rise. This IP24-rated transformer features cores that are specially coated to prevent moisture from entering and are electrically balanced to minimize axial forces during short-circuit events.

This unit provides increased protection against electrical shocks and isolates the powered device from the power source and insulation between the primary and secondary power sources. Suitable applications include general use in industrial and commercial settings.
