Indiana Michigan Power has announced a large investment into electricity upgrades for both Berrien Springs and Eau Claire, MI.
US: Indiana Michigan Power has announced a large investment into electricity upgrades for both Berrien Springs and Eau Claire, MI.
According to a statement from the company, the investment plan will include the following: Building the Blossom Trail substation in Eau Claire, building transmission line to connect the new Blossom Trail Substation to existing lines, upgrading transmission lines from 34.5 kV to 69 kV standards to help enhance energy reliability in the area, and replacing Berrien Springs Substation with the new Boxer Substation in Berrien Springs.
Officials say that all construction involved is expected to be finished by the end of 2020.
