FGC UES to modernise Volna substation in Vladivostok
Russia, Vladivostok: FGC UES will complete the reconstruction of the existing 220 kV substation Volna by the end of 2014, with a total investment of RUB 174 million ($ 5 million).

Russia, Vladivostok: FGC UES will complete the reconstruction of the existing 220 kV substation Volna by the end of 2014, with a total investment of RUB 174 million ($ 5 million).
According to the MES East (a subsidiary of FGC) press service, the substation will be modernised and two new power transformers, 40 MVA each, will be installed. The new ones will replace the old 25 MVA transformers, reports Interfax Russia.
The result of the modernisation will be increased amount of electricity supplied issued to both existing and new customers. In addition, the substation will be equipped with modern complex communication and security systems.
