Iesco sets up two new 132 kV substations

Pakistan, Islamabad: The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (Iesco) has constructed two new 132 kV grid stations with financial support of World Bank and Asian Development Bank.

Pakistan, Islamabad: The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (Iesco) has constructed two new 132 kV grid stations with financial support of World Bank and Asian Development Bank.

According to the press release from Tuesday, the newly constructed stations are operational and have started power supply.

Two power transformers of 40 MVA capacity have been installed in the new substations, The News reports. In other newly constructed Noor Pur Sathi Grid in Chakwal circle, two power transformers of 13 MVA will be facilitated.

Due to construction of new substations, the customers will get more reliable and uninterrupted power supply, installation of new connections will be possible and line losses will be reduced.
