ALBA Power repairs transformer at Rangreth-based industrial estate
India, Srinagar: ALBA Power has successfully repaired a mega 50,000 kVA transformer at Rangreth-based industrial estate.

India, Srinagar: ALBA Power has successfully repaired a 50 MVA transformer at Rangreth-based industrial estate.
The power transformer installed at the 220 kV Pampore grid station had developed problems and needed repairing, reports Greater Kashmir. Power Development Department staffer said: “[…] such heavy-duty device was never repaired in the state or even in nearby north Indian states.”
“Such achievements are team work… Our team of engineers and other staff has proved that Kashmir nowhere lags behind. All what one need here is opportunity.” said Director of ALBA Power, Nisar Ahmed Baba.
ALBA Power, the Srinagar-based firm operating from Rangreth industrial estate has already exported transformers to other states like Rajasthan.
