Northern Paris gets new power transformer
France, Paris: A new power transformer was delivered to Batignolles yesterday. It will power most of the northern Paris from this autumn.

France, Paris: A new power transformer was delivered to Batignolles yesterday. It will power most of the northern Paris from this autumn.
The transformer weighs 70 tonnes and has a capacity of 70 MVA, which will supply about 80,000 homes in Paris.
Another power transformer of 70 MVA was installed last October as part of the project started in 2008 and worth € 20 million, reports 20 Minutes. The project is seen as an investment in the next fifty years.
