USA, South Carolina: Three transformers caused fire after a man stealing copper, was shocked at Marion’s Heritage building.
Yesterday morning the thief was working around a primary wire to the building when a metal ladder came in contact with the 13 kV transformers to the building.
There was a small fire around the man that needed to be put out, but he suffered burns were caused by the shock. The man is being treated for third-degree burns.
Most of the city of Marion lost electricity for about an hour, reports WMBF News.
