Fluctuation in schedules and the coordination of asset availability for transformer repair, installation or replacement can be a challenge for utilities, installers and service companies alike. The harmonized arrival of crews, equipment trucks, oil and vacuum pumps / oil purification can be difficult to manage due to conflicts in schedules, weather, shipping issues and other delays.
Baron USA has long been playing a support role by making quality rental equipment available in a wide variety of flowrates and configurations for its North American customers. Vacuum packages for transformer evacuation, transformer oil purifiers, filter carts, cold traps, and fullers earth systems have been available for rapid deployment under evolving conditions to assist in meeting these challenges.
Baron has added vacuum-based 600 gph processors capable of both online energized and offline, deenergized drying and degassing of wet or gassing transformers. An SF6 trailer has also been added. These assets add to a fleet of 2400 USgph gooseneck transformer oil purifiers with transformer vacuum evacuation and dry air capability; semi-based 2400 with onboard generator; shipping container unit for small spaces and shipping by sea; small vault and platform oil purifiers for pad mount transformers, 2-wheel filter carts and trailers for breakers and tap changers and more.
Strategically located in Cookeville, TN and offering quick shipment, pickup and shuttle services of rigs to substations, these assets are available to fill a need in relatively short notice.
