Russia: It has been reported that drone attacks by the Ukrainian forces have hit two energy infrastructure targets within the Russian Federation. In the early morning of July 29, a substation was hit in Tomarovka, in the Belgorod region of Russia, igniting a large blaze.

As reported by the Telegram channel Astra, the Kremlin’s Ministry of Defense claimed its air defenses intercepted and destroyed over three dozen Ukrainian UAVs across multiple regions in Russia overnight: 19 drones in the Kursk region, 9 in Belgorod, 3 in Voronezh, 5 in Bryansk, and 3 in the Leningrad region.

Also overnight, a drone attack struck a substation in Glazunivka in the Orlovsky region. The local governor reported that an anti-aircraft defence system destroyed two UAVs, and a substation was damaged by the attack, but there were no casualties reported.
