UAE, Dubai: 45th edition of global energy platform spotlights latest breakthrough in transitional sector amid greater demand, digitalization and diversification.

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, opened the 45th edition of Middle East Energy, previously known as Middle East Electricity, on 3 March at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

The exhibition runs until 5 March, and displays the lastest technologies and solutions by more than 1,100 local, regional and international exhibitors.

With global energy consumption set to double by 2050, according to the Energy & Utilities Market Outlook Report 2020 by Informa Markets, organiser of Middle East Energy, the 2020 edition is bringing together companies and visitors from more than 100 countries to find solutions to the challenge of meeting the world’s growing energy needs.
