Kebbi receives 60 MVA transformer from FG, KADECO

Kebbi State government has received 60MVA transformer from KADECO, in collaboration with the Federal Government.

Nigeria, Kebbi: Kebbi State government said it has received 60 MVA transformer from the Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company (KADECO) in collaboration with the Federal Government in order to have sufficient 24 hours electricity supply in the state.

Receiving the consignment at the Power Transmission Station, Birnin Kebbi, Governor Atiku Bagudu Abubakar, lauded the Federal Government and KADECO for their commitment towards providing the transformer to ensure that people enjoy the 24-hour power supply.

He added that the existing one got damaged long ago, leading to load shedding in the state capital, but that with the effort of his administration, he was able to secure a replacement.

He said: “I commend the Federal Government for fulfilling its obligation by assisting Kebbi State with one big transformer in order for the masses to continue to enjoy electricity supply uninterruptedly.“
