Laso handles transformer in Mozambique

Mozambique, Matola: Portugal-headquartered Laso Transportes has handled a transformer at a power station in Matola, Mozambique.

The transformer weighed 190.5 T. Laso deployed a jacking system for the loading and unloading operations.

The transport company said it carried out technical studies and evaluations before completing the project. Laso Transportes, S.A. was established in 2007, resulting from the merger of the two leading Portuguese special transport companies.

The company carries out special transports, including areas such as vertical positioning and cargo handling, management and engineering projects.

With branches throughout the world, namely in Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy and France, Mozambique and Morocco, Laso has hundreds of trucks in service throughout Europe every day.

Laso has been increasing its international presence through partnerships with companies of recognized prestige in the transport and elevation sector, and through the various projects it has carried out in Africa, Asia and Latin America, in countries like Cape Verde, Senegal, Rwanda, United Arab Emirates and Nicaragua.
