TM’s Industry Navigator conference is an online event for business owners, corporate and strategic managers.
You will have a chance to see five mutually connected / interlinked topics, related to business and technology decision-making. Three of these presentations are based on research projects that we have recently conducted.
The first presentation will be held by Chris Gerber from Genesiss, Belgium, who is an experienced C-level manager and a lecturer at Transformers Academy, where he leads the course on contract management in the transformer industry. The topic at the conference is “Mergers and acquisitions in the transformer industry”. This is the area where Chris has personal experience and his talk will be backed up by a research that we have recently conducted together.
The second topic, titled “Implementing knowledge into your organisation” and presented by Barbara Tomić Eterović, the coordinator at Transformers Academy, deals with the importance of know-how in our organizations related with different situations that we may face, such as retirement of senior experts, M&A activities, new product and technology development, especially in the area of digitalisation, where we see more and more AI, ML and other fast progressing technologies.
In this regard, the third presentation by Dr. Jean Sanchez from EDF, France, deals with the future of innovation in our industry, based on findings of TM’s research on innovation abilities, innovation needs and pain points in this area. The topic is very much related to all three preceding topics, but also to the fifth topic – ‘TM’s Industry Navigator’.
In the fourth, keynote presentation, which will be held by Dr. Mladen Banovic from Transformers Magazine, Croatia, we will discuss strategic topics that are highly important for different stakeholders in our industry. The topics include: openness to new technologies, innovation priorities, sustainability, digitalisation, buying criteria, market growth, etc.
We will also see how some trends have changed during the last three years, what will be overall priorities in the future, and how these priorities differ for different stakeholders, different product segments, etc. The priorities are not only ranked, but they also have measurable scores, so that we can better measure differences in priorities.
All participants will have the opportunity to discuss any of these topics.
