L&T To Build 220kV Transmission Line In Ladakh

The Power Transmission & Distribution (PTD) business of Larsen & Toubro has won a bacth of orders, including one to build a 220kV line in the Ladakh region.
Larsen & Toubro said that its PTD division of L&T Construction, the construction arm of Larsen & Toubro Ltd, has won several orders in the domestic and international markets.
One order is for construction of a 220kV power transmission line associated with system strengthening in the Ladakh region. The design and execution of this system involve traversing avalanche prone, hilly terrains and ice loading of conductors.
Another turnkey order has been received for urban power distribution in Ayodhya city in Uttar Pradesh, under the Centrally-sponsored Integrated Power Development Scheme (IPDS).
