This time Mr. Balazs Sztari presented the mechanical tests, including the testing of auxiliary devices of transformer. The lesson detailed the IEC and IEEE standard methods and their acceptance criteria, as well as some practical advice.
Mr. Sztari is an electrical engineer whose team performs commissioning, diagnostics and R&D tests on power transformers and rotating machines. He is currently a member of Cigre A2.53 working group and he has been teaching at the Transformers Academy for an impressive year an a half now.
