USA, Washington DC: The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has approved a 230 kV transmission line project, a gen-tie line, which will cross around 4.7 miles of public lands and connect the Rock Creek wind farm in Wyoming. The facility will generate 590 MW of clean energy.

Rock Creek Wind proposed to construct, operate, maintain, and decommission the 38 mile transmission project to cross a mix of public and private lands in Albany and Carbon counties. The decision was followed by a 30-day public comment period in which BLM gathered public input on two options considered for the project.
