NTPC invites tenders for solar power project in Maharashtra

NTPC has invited bids for the installation and commissioning package of a solar PV project at Solapur in Maharashtra.

India, Maharashtra: The National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) has invited bids for the installation and commissioning package of a solar PV project at Solapur in Maharashtra.

The scope of work includes the installation and commissioning of the solar PV project through the Domestic Content Requirement route. The major components required for the project development will be supplied by the NTPC, including modules, inverters, power cables, breakers, transformers, and energy meters, which will be issued by NTPC to the instrumentation & control contractor.

To take part in the bidding process, the bidder should have installed solar PV-based grid-connected power projects of cumulative installed capacity of at least 18 MW, out of which at least one project should have been of 5 MW or above.

The last date for the submission of bids is 3 June, 2020, and the pre-bid meeting will take place on 20 May, 2020.

Interested bidders will have to submit an amount of $26,000 (₹2 M) as the earnest money deposit.
