Germany, Duisburg: The Science Based Targets initiative has recently confirmed thyssenkrupp Steel’s climate targets, the company announced. This makes it one of the first steel manufacturing companies whose targets are in line with the 1.5-degree target of the Paris Climate Agreement for 2032 (near term) and 2045 (net zero).

The company said this confirms the credibility of their targets. It aims to further consolidate their role in the industry and set standards for a sustainable future.
