The acquisition has received all regulatory approvals, enabling an integration of the Neoen portfolio into Statkraft’s operation in Croatia.

Croatia, Zagreb: Norwegian state-owned utility Statkraft, Europe’s largest renewable energy producer, has acquired the Croatian portfolio of the French renewable energy producer Neoen. The acquisition has received all regulatory approvals, enabling an integration of the Neoen portfolio into Statkraft’s operation in Croatia. Financial details were not disclosed.

The acquired portfolio includes all of Neoen’s projects in the early development phase such as wind farms, solar power plants, and project for battery energy storage systems (BESS). Neoen has been operating in Croatia since mid-2020, while Statkraft started operations there in 2021.
