As in previous lessons, this chapter of the Transformer Testing Course details another dielectric test of power transformers. The subject of Lesson 9 is the switching impulse test. You will learn about IEC and IEEE standard requirements, test connections, waveform control and evaluation, testing techniques, and failure cases.
