Underground submersible substation planned in Mumbai

Tata Power announced the installation of an innovative submersible power substation in Mumbai to enhance the power infrastructure in its operational area.

India, Mumbai: Tata Power announced the installation of an innovative submersible power substation in Mumbai to enhance the power infrastructure in its operational area.

The substation will have a specially designed 22 kV submersible duty three-way ring man unit and a 22 kV/433 V 400 KVA transformer with accessories suitable for submerged operations. All terminations of the substation will be suitable for operation under submersion and will have touch-proof design technology.
