We had the great honor of speaking with Christina Iosifidou, Head of Sustainability Grid Technologies at Siemens Energy, during the fourth TMIN conference in Madrid, focusing on investments, artificial intelligence, and sustainability.
In this 15-minute conversation, she shared her commitment to sustainability:
“…it’s been one and a half years that I’ve been within the area of sustainability, not only, of course, looking into transformers, but also switch gears, solution, business service, the whole value chain of our business, really, within transmission.”
She explains that sustainability goals can only be achieved if we have partners who share the same mindset and target setting. Christina operates in an environment of constant discussions with suppliers, customers, and international standardization bodies, as she and her team strive to influence the developing regulatory framework.
