Virginia Transformers is associated with Fermilab’s Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment, which is an international flagship experiment to study the interaction of sub-atomic particles – Neutrinos.

The experiment involves generating a powerful beam of neutrinos and building massive underground detectors to analyze the interaction of these particles.

VT-GT worked diligently to ensure the exacting requirements of Fermilab specs were comprehensively met, and its scope of supply included assembly, testing & training at site.
This transformer was manufactured at VTC-Roanoke facility in Virginia.
