Germany: Ziehl-Abegg, a manufacturer of electric motors and fans, has concluded the fiscal year 2023 as the most successful year in its history. It achieved a 9.5% revenue growth to €955 million and the largest single investment in its history. Its market position has been solidified. “This is the best year in the company’s history,” explains Dr. Marc Wucherer, CEO of Ziehl-Abegg.

The highlight of the year was a new plant in the USA, a €100 million investment to support growth in the American markets. The company also initiated a new plant construction in Vietnam and launched a new production in Poland. In 2024, production is being set up in India. In Germany, the company has invested more than €30 million in an improved machinery park and automation technology. It is currently adapting its internal structures, enabling more effective action on a global level. The reorganization includes division into four geographic areas: Central Europe, EMEA, APAC, and the Americas, reflecting the regional and globalized customer world and the growth of foreign markets. With the ZA2030 strategy, Ziehl-Abegg pursues goals such as carbon neutrality, sustainable products, and complete transparency about environmental impacts. “The course for further growth is set, with a clear focus on innovation, sustainability, and global customer proximity,” CEO Wucherer added.
