    Key deliverables:

Organization or entities, being profit or non-profit, have largely two driving objectives, this being either cost effectiveness (profit) or efficiency (productivity). Contract management is important as it aims to facilitate an effective and almost automated process to achieve these objectives whilst mitigating risk.

In this tutorial session the student will be familiarised with the definition of contract management and the contract management process. It will deal with role and function of a contract manager and reflect on the typical traits expected and associated with a contract manager. In addition it will also ensure a link between contract law and contract management.

Keywords: contract management, risk, profit, productivity
