First On Load Tap-changer (OLTC) was developed nearly a 100 years ago. Extensive resources, including books, research papers, and various online videos, delve into the intricacies of OLTCs.
Crafting this presentation involved meticulous selection of materials to ensure both information and engagement. The aim of this e-lesson is to offer a comprehensive introduction to OLTCs. It covers their fundamental workings, diverse types based on applications and internal technology for switching, as well as protective accessories employed with OLTCs. Additionally, it elucidates their operational mechanisms.
This e-lesson caters to a broad audience, including plant managers, electrical engineers, maintenance personnel, and university students. We particularly focused on presenting the content in an understandable manner, especially beneficial for young professionals aspiring to become future plant managers and engineering experts.
